Unlocking Creativity: Maktab Duli Teachers Explore E-book Creation

14th February 2024 - The Education Technology Centre (EdTech), Ministry of Education, recently held a sharing session at Maktab Duli to introduce educators to the potential of e-books. This program aligns with the Ministry's goal of promoting creative learning environments through the use of technology. The training taught participants how to use the interactive features of e-books in their classrooms. These capabilities give teachers and students a significant advantage over traditional textbooks by allowing them to receive a more immersive learning experiences. The workshop also discussed how e-books might provide new resources based on individual student accomplishment, thereby improving their educational experiences.

The program provided an excellent learning experience for the Maktab Duli teachers, who were quite enthusiastic. Participants actively engaged in discussions regarding practical strategies for incorporating e-books into their courses across disciplines and learning styles. Furthermore, the initiative explored new methods to use e-books for interactive activities, motivating classroom discussions, and formative assessments. EdTech considers that e-books have the potential to enhance education by creating a more engaging and personalized learning environment for all students. The session ended with a discussion about potential e-book applications in the classroom.
