Enhancing Smart Classrooms: Demonstration Interactive Panel Features in Temburong

February 11, 2025,  EdTech Centre, under the Ministry of Education, Brunei Darussalam, hosted a demonstration session at SR Sultan Hashim Batu Apoi, Temburong. This event was facilitated by ASDS, the vendor responsible for supplying the interactive panels for the Smart Classroom Project. The primary objective of the session was to ensure that educators from SR Sultan Hashim and SM Sultan Hasan, both selected schools for the third phase of the Smart Classroom Project, are equipped with the necessary skills to maximize the use of these innovative tools in their teaching practices.

The session saw active participation from both schools, fostering an environment of collaboration and knowledge sharing. EdTech Centre officers were also in attendance to support the initiative and engage with the educators. This training is a critical step in enhancing the digital competency of teachers, ultimately leading to enriched learning experiences for students and the successful implementation of the Smart Classroom Project throughout Brunei Darussalam.

During the discussion, several actionable plans were agreed upon to facilitate greater collaboration between EdTech Centre and CCD. A key outcome of this meeting is the commitment to share regular updates and engaging content through the MOE Instagram page, ensuring that vital information and resources are readily accessible to educators and learners alike. This collaborative effort underscores our dedication to leveraging technology in education and fostering an informed and connected community.
